Literacy Book Week 2020

From 14th to 18th September, Aiwin International School celebrated its Book Week, including Speech Festival on 18th September. Students across the school took part in several activities throughout the week including Book Character Day, Buddy Reading, Puppet Storytelling, Poster-Making Contest and Speech Festival. It was incredible to see each student imagination and creativity unfold as they work on a certain books to interpret them in different ways, by dressing up, drawings, speech and reading it to another friend at school.

Book Character Day and Buddy Reading

Students went to school wearing their favorite book character. During the day, they had the chance to visit other classes and read to their friends.

Puppet Storytelling

Kindy students created a story puppets to tell the story of "The Three Little Pigs" to Early Nursery and Nursery classes.

Poster Making Contest

All our students were very proud of their creative illustrations for their chosen class stories for this year's Poster Making Contest.

Mystery Readers

We had special readers who took the time to read to us in class and online. Students were all happy to hear their favorite stories from our special visitors.

Speech Festival

As the highlight of the event, we held our Speech Festival where students from Nursery to Kindy recited their class poems in front of everyone.
