Students become more familiar with books, increase their vocabulary sharply and learn more ways to use language and numbers in this class. Their reading and writing skills are reinforced by our phonics and phonology program. They learn the social skills they need to get the most out of school – how to pay attention in class and interact with peers and adapt to new environments. The teachers encourage the children to develop mathematical and scientific thinking by facilitating questions to help them to observe, reason and problem solve.
