Last week, the weather was pleasant and warm, so the children were able to spend plenty of time playing outside.🌤
Recently, they have been really enjoying playing “zombie” and “ghost” role-play games outdoors. 👻

Junior Kindy / Kindyクラスでは、エノキとしめじを使ったクッキングクラスがありました。🍄🍳
キノコの育ち方や、他にもたくさんの種類があることを学びました。
束になっているキノコを剥いて一本一本に分けたり、
その後実際に自分たちでキノコを茹で、2種類のキノコの味を比べて食べました。
エノキとしめじで細さや色が違うことにとても興味を持っているこどもたちでした。💕
In the Junior Kindy and Kindy class, the children had a cooking activity using enoki and shimeji mushrooms.🍄🍳
They learned about how mushrooms grow and discovered that there are many different kinds of mushrooms. The children enjoyed separating the mushrooms from a cluster into individual pieces, and then boiled the mushrooms themselves.
Afterwards, they tasted and compared the flavors of the two types of mushrooms.
They were especially interested in the differences in thickness and color between the enoki and shimeji mushrooms.💕

今月は、地震と火災の避難訓練がありました。🚒
毎月行っている避難訓練は、今月で10回目となります。
下の学年の生徒たちは、初めはとても怖がっていましたが、
今では全員泣いたり立ち止まることなく、きちんと訓練ができるようになりました。
また、Kindyの生徒の中には、訓練のサイレンを覚えており、普段から携帯の通知音など
サイレンに似た音を聞くと「Fire!」「Danger!」などと言って声をかけてくれる子もいます。🔥
This month, we held evacuation drills for both earthquakes and fires.🚒
The monthly evacuation drills were conducted for the tenth time this month. At first, some of the younger students were very scared, but now all of the children are able to participate in the drills calmly without crying or stopping.
Some of the Kindy students have also learnt to recognise the drill siren, and when they hear sounds similar to a siren such as notification sounds on mobile phones, they will say things like ""Fire!"" or ""Danger!"" to alert others.🔥
