October at AWIS was full of energy, smiles, and discovery!
As the autumn breeze arrived, our students embraced every moment of learning —
moving
their bodies,
imagining freely, and exploring nature.
During Sports Day, they proudly demonstrated what they had
practiced
in
P.E. classes, building
teamwork and confidence while sharing their joy with families.
Our Halloween Party & Fashion Show brought excitement to every
campus, as children expressed their creativity through costumes, games, and
storytelling in English.
In addition, we welcomed Chef Kawagoe for a special
Pancake
Project, where children created their own
“Treasure Box Pancakes” while learning
about math, science, and cooperation through hands-on experience.
We also resumed our long-awaited Farm Trip Project, where
students
observed how vegetables had
grown over the summer, harvested them with excitement, and deepened their
appreciation
for food and nature.
Through these experiences, children developed Aiwin’s BASIC skills — Balance、
Adaptable、
Self-confidence、Imaginative、Communicative— while learning the joy of expressing
themselves and
connecting with others.
Looking ahead to November, our Junior Kindy and Kindy students
are
preparing for the
Cambridge
English Assessment, a meaningful milestone to reflect on their English
growth. Children
will have the
chance to express what they’ve learned with confidence and joy. At AWIS, we value
this
experience not
as a test, but as a celebration of progress and a step toward future learning.
We are also looking forward to Science Week, when children will
become
“little
scientists,
” exploring how
and why things happen through experiments and observation.
At AWIS, every season brings new opportunities to discover, challenge, and shine.
秋風を感じる季節、子どもたちは体を動かし、想像を広げ、自然とふれあいながらたくさんの学びを楽しみました。
スポーツデイでは、日々の体育活動で培った力を発揮しながら、チームワークや自信を育み、保護者の皆さまと笑顔いっぱいの時間を過ごしました。
ハロウィンパーティー＆ファッションショーでは、英語でのやり取りやゲーム、仮装を通して、子どもたちの創造力と表現力が輝きました。
また、特別ゲストとして川越シェフをお招きし、「宝箱のようなパンケーキ」を作るプロジェクトを実施しました。子どもたちはシェフと一緒にパンケーキづくりに挑戦しながら、算数・理科・協調性など、多様な学びを体験的に楽しみました。
さらに、ファームトリップが夏以来再開され、畑で野菜の成ファームトリップが夏以来再開され、畑で野菜の成長を観察しながら収穫を楽しみ、自然や食への感謝の気持ちを深めることができました。
こうした体験のひとつひとつが、AWISの教育理念である BASICスキル（Balance、 Adaptable、 Self-confidence
、 Imaginative、 Communicative） を育む学びの時間につながっています。
11月には、Kindyクラスの子どもたちがケンブリッジ英語アセスメントに挑戦します。
日々の英語学習の成果を表現する機会でありますが、AWISでは、テストというよりも「これまでの成長を振り返り、
自信を持って発表する場」として大切にしています。
また、サイエンスウィークでは、子どもたちが“ちいさな科学者”となり、実験や観察を通して「なぜ？」「どうして？」を
探究します。
好奇心や想像力、考える力を育てながら、学ぶ楽しさと発見の喜びを感じる一週間になることでしょう。
AWISでは、季節ごとに新しい挑戦と発見を重ねながら、
一人ひとりが確かな成長を遂げています。

⚽ Sports Day
— Building Confidence and Teamwork

秋空の下、子どもたちはこれまでの練習の成果を元気いっぱいに披露しました。
笑顔と努力、そして「できた！」という達成感にあふれた一日となり、チームワークの楽しさや自分の成長を実感する
時間となりました。
スポーツデイは、明るく温かな雰囲気の中、全キャンパスで開催されました。
子どもたちはサーキット活動を通して体を動かす楽しさや達成する喜びを感じました。
また、ダイナミックな組体操や
楽しい親子競技では、チームワークやあきらめない気持ち、自信に満ちた姿を見せてくれました。
子どもたち一人ひとりが自信と笑顔にあふれ、心も体も大きく成長した一日となりました。
Under the clear autumn sky, our students proudly showcased the results of
their
practice and hard work. It
was a day filled with smiles, determination, and the joy of saying “I did it!”
— as they discovered the fun of
teamwork and celebrated their own growth.
Sports Day was held across all campuses
in
a cheerful and
supportive atmosphere.
Children enjoyed moving their bodies through fun circuit activities, feeling
the
joy
of movement and the
excitement of achievement. They also impressed everyone with dynamic group
performances and
cheerful parent-participation games that highlighted their teamwork,
perseverance,
and growing
confidence.
Every child was filled with confidence and smiles, showing wonderful growth in
both
body and sprit.

🎃 Spooktacular Halloween
— A Celebration of Imagination and Confidence
|
|
|
10月のAWISは、笑い声と創造力、そしてワクワクした気持ちに包まれながら、子どもたちが1年で最も楽しみにして
いるイベントのひとつ「ハロウィン」に向けて準備を進めました。
各クラスでは、お化けのアートを作ったり、ハロウィンにまつわるお話を聞いたり、教室をカボチャやクモの巣で飾ったりと、楽しいアクティビティがいっぱい！
園全体が明るい雰囲気に包まれ、子どもたちの期待も高まっていきました。
そして当日、お気に入りの衣装で登園した子どもたちは、ファッションショーで自分らしくステージを歩き、想像力と自信にあふれる姿を見せてくれました。
園全体が笑顔であふれ、まさに“想像力が形になる特別な一日”となりました。
この体験を通して、AWISが大切にしている
BASICスキル（Imagination/Self-confidence/Communication）が育まれ、子どもたちは遊びながらも学びを深めていきました。
子どもたち一人ひとりの創造力が輝いた、まさに特別で魔法のような一日となりました。
October at AWIS was filled with laughter, creativity, and excitement as
children
prepared for one of their
favorite events of the year — Halloween!
Each class engaged in exciting activities such as making ghost-themed art,
listening
to Halloween stories,
and decorating classrooms with pumpkins and spider webs. The festive
atmosphere
filled every corner of
the school, building anticipation day by day. On the day of the event,
children
arrived in their favorite
costumes and proudly walked the stage during the fashion show, expressing
individuality and
self-confidence with bright smiles.
Through this experience, students not only celebrated the season but also
deepened
their BASIC skills
— Imagination, Self-confidence, and Communication — which lie at the
heart
of AWIS’s
early years
curriculum. It was a truly magical day where creativity came alive in every
child.

🥞 Learning Through Sweet Creations
— Pancake Project with Chef Kawagoe
|
|
|
AWISでは、日々のスクール生活の中で、子どもたちが実際に体験しながら学ぶ hands-on learning(体験型学習)
を大切にしています。
10月には、プロの川越シェフをお招きし、「宝箱のようなパンケーキ」を作る特別なプロジェクトを実施しました。
当日、子どもたちはシェフと一緒に「パンケーキを作るには何が必要か」を考えながら、自分だけのオリジナルパンケーキを完成させました。
この体験を通して、算数(材料を量る)・理科(焼くときの変化を観察する)・巧緻性(混ぜる・飾る)・社会性(協力や会話)
など、多様な学びが自然に広がりました。
また、シェフへの質問タイムでは、「どうして丸く焼けるの?」「トッピングのコツは?」など、好奇心いっぱいの声があふれました。
この日の様子は、川越シェフのYouTubeチャンネル『川越シェフだよ』で、11月16日に配信予定です。
AWISではこれからも、子どもたちが楽しみながら考え、体験を通して学ぶ機会をたくさん提供していきます。
AWIS values hands-on learning as an essential part of our daily school
life.
In October, we held a special project with professional Chef Kawagoe, where
children
created their own
“Treasure Box Pancakes.”
During the event, the children worked with the chef to think about what is
needed
to
make pancakes and
designed their own original creations. Through this experience, they learned
about
Math (measuring
ingredients), Science (observing changes while cooking), Fine Motor Skills
(mixing
and decorating), and
Social Skills (cooperating and communicating with others).
They also had the chance to ask the chef many questions such as “How do
pancakes
stay round?” and
“What’s the secret to delicious toppings?” — filling the room with curiosity
and
excitement.
It was a joyful and educational day filled with creativity, discovery, and
smiles.

🌾 Farm Trip “From Farm to Table”
— Discovering Nature’s Lessons
|
|
|
このファームトリップ・プロジェクトは、昨年の秋から続くAiwinならではの探究学習のひとつであり、子どもたちが自然と向き合いながら「命のつながり」や「食の大切さ」を感じ取る貴重な学びの時間です。
JuniorKindyとKindyクラスの子どもたちは、電車に乗って畑へ遠足に出かけ、秋の風を感じながら久しぶりの畑での探究に胸を弾ませました。
夏の間にぐんと大きく育ったナスやサツマイモ、レタスなどを見つけて大興奮！
スコップで掘ったり、ハサミで切ったり、重さや長さを測って自分なりに記録を残す姿が見られました。
土の中から青虫が出てきて驚いたり、自然の中で命の循環を感じたりと、たくさんの発見があった一日でした。
収穫した野菜は後日のクッキングクラスで小さいクラスの子どもたちも使用し、“育てる → 観察する →
料理する”という学びのサイクルを完成させました。
これは、実体験を通して学び、世界とつながる力を育むAiwinカリキュラムの姿そのものです。
The Farm Trip Project, continuing since last autumn, is one of AWIS’s most
meaningful learning
experiences — connecting children with nature, curiosity, and the cycle of
life.
Junior Kindy and Kindy
students took the train to the farm, full of excitement for the day’s
adventure.
Feeling the cool autumn
breeze, they discovered how much the vegetables had grown over the summer —
eggplants, sweet
potatoes, and lettuce all waiting to be harvested. Children dug with shovels,
cut
with scissors, and
measured the size and weight of each vegetable, keeping their own records like
little researchers.
Through these joyful hands-on experiences, they learned how food grows from
the
earth and why caring for nature is so important.
The harvested vegetables will be used by younger classes
in cooking lessons,
completing AWIS’s learning cycle of growing, observing, and cooking
— a true
reflection of our
curriculum that values hands-on learning and connection with the world around
us.

11月、Junior Kindy & Kindyクラス( 年中・年長）の子どもたちは国際プログラムであるケンブリッジ英語アセスメント
に挑戦します。リスニング・スピーキング・リーディング・ライティングの4技能を通して、これまでの学びを自信を持って表現する特別な機会です。
AWISでは、このテストを「成果を測る場」ではなく、「成長を感じる節目」として大切にしています。
また、サイエンスウィークでは園が小さな実験室に変わり、子どもたちは“ちいさな科学者”として「なぜ？」「どうして？」の探究を楽しみます。
観察や実験を通して、新しい発見と創造的な考え方を育みます。
In November, our Junior Kindy and Kindy students will take the Cambridge

international program that celebrates their progress in listening, speaking,
reading, and writing. At AWIS,
we view this not as a test, but as a joyful milestone — a chance for children

They will also become “Little Scientists” during

👶 Little Steps, Big Future
— AWIS Baby Class Now Open!
|

|
この11月より、夙川キャンパスでベビークラスがスタートしました。
歌や遊び、五感を使ったアクティビティを通して、赤ちゃんたちは“英語のある環境”の中で、ことば・好奇心・自信の
最初の一歩を踏み出します。
また、夙川キャンパスをはじめ、各キャンパスでも体験レッスンを実施中です。AWISならではの明るく温かな雰囲気
を感じていただけます。
AWISでは、ひとつひとつの“小さな一歩”が、未来へとつながる“大きな成長”になります。
Starting this November, our Baby Class has officially opened at the
Shukugawa Campus, welcoming little explorers and their families into the world of
early
learning at AWIS.
Through songs, play, and sensory activities, babies take their first steps toward
communication, curiosity,
and confidence — all in a warm, English-rich environment.
The Shukugawa Campus is now also offering trial
lessons,
along with other AWIS campuses, so
families can experience the joyful and warm atmosphere of Aiwin.
At AWIS, every small step is a big beginning — helping each child grow naturally
through
joy, discovery,
and connection.
