September at AWIS was full of joy and growth!
After an exciting Summer School in August, our students returned with plenty of energy
to explore, create,
and connect with each other. Throughout September, they built confidence by sharing
their voices on
stage, celebrated milestones together with pride, and deepened communication with
teachers and
parents.
Looking ahead to October, the children are preparing enthusiastically for Sports Day,
developing
teamwork, physical strength, and a sense of achievement during P.E. classes. They are
also looking
forward to our Halloween Party, which will spark their imagination and creativity as
they enjoy dressing
up, playing games, and celebrating together with friends and teachers.
We are also delighted to welcome new families each day through our Open Day trial
lessons. If you are
interested in experiencing our learning environment, please feel free to reach out

8月のサマースクールを終え、子どもたちは元気いっぱいに登園し、探求・創造・交流の時間を楽しみながら新しい
月をスタートしました。9月を通して、ステージで自分の声を届ける経験を重ね、自信を育み、仲間と共に節目を祝い
ながら、先生や保護者とのコミュニケーションもより深まりました。
10月に向けては、運動会の練習を通してチームワークや体力、達成感を育んでいます。さらに、ハロウィンパー
ティーに向けて衣装づくりやゲームの準備を楽しみながら、想像力と創造性を伸ばしています。
また、毎日多くのご家庭がオープンデイの「体験入園」にご参加くださっています。

💚100days of School
- 100 days & 100 smiles -

4月の初登園から毎朝数えてきた登園日数が、9月3日でついに「100日目」！
子どもたちは、自分の園での毎日を思い出しながら、できるようになったことや頑張ったことを振り返りました。
当日は、写真や動画でこれまでの成長を見返したり、「100日仮装」で大盛り上がりしたりと、笑顔がいっぱいの一日
でした。
Since their very first day at school in April, the children have been counting their
school days each
morning — and on September 3rd, they finally reached their 100th
day!
Reflecting on their time at school, the children looked back on all they have
learned, achieved, and grown
through over the past months.
On this special day, they celebrated by watching photos and videos of their journey
so far and enjoyed
dressing up for the “100th Day Costume Celebration,
” filling the day with laughter and smiles.

9月は「PTC（保護者懇談会）」の季節です！
AWISでは、年に2回（※ENクラスは年1回）、保護者の皆さまと担任の先生が直接お話しできる貴重 な機会と
して、PTCを実施しています。「園での様子をもっと詳しく知りたい」「気になることを直
接先生に相談したい」——そんな保護者の皆さまの声にお応えし、お子さま一人ひとりの成長や日々 の取り組
みについて、評価シートを見ながら担任とじっくりお話しいただけます。
少人数制のAWISだからこそ、子どもたち一人ひとりにしっかりと向き合い、丁寧にお伝えできる時 間となってい
ます。
September is (Parent–Teacher Conference) month!
AWIS holds PTCs twice a year (once a year for EN classes) to provide parents with a
valuable
opportunity to meet and talk directly with their child’s homeroom teacher. Our PTC
provides a
valuable chance for parents to talk directly with teachers, review their child’s
growth, and share any
questions or concerns.
With our small class sizes, each meeting offers personal and meaningful
conversations about every
child’s daily progress and learning journey.

📚Literacy Week
- Celebrate the joy of Reading & Speaking -

|
|
AWISでは、毎年「リテラシーウィーク（読書週間）」イベントを開催しています。今年は9月22日の週に実施し、
子どもたちはお気に入りの絵本の主人公になりきり、物語を通して学んだことをスピーチで発表しながら、「人
前で自分の思いを伝えることの大切さ」を体験しました。
毎日一生懸命スピーチの練習に取り組む姿が見られ、課外活動の時間にも、レゴブロックをマイクに見立てて
お友だちと練習するなど、楽しみながら表現力を育てていきました。 当日は、自分のスピーチを保護者の
方々に披露し、達成感と笑顔でいっぱいの一日となりました。
At AWIS, we hold our annual Literacy Week event every year.
This year, it took place during the week of September 22, as
children became the
main characters
from their favorite storybooks and shared what they had learned through speeches.
Through this
experience, they learned the importance of expressing their thoughts confidently in
front of others.
Each day, the children practiced their speeches with enthusiasm, even during
activity time—using
LEGO blocks as microphones and rehearsing with their friends while having fun.
On the final day, they proudly presented their speeches to their parents, making it
a day filled with
confidence, smiles, and a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

🌏 Save the Children
|
|
サマースクールの最終日には、サマーフェスティバルを開催し、今年もセーブ・ザ・チルドレンを支援する募金活動を行いました。
ご家庭からご寄付いただいた品々で開かれたチャリティーバザーは、保護者の皆さまの温かいご協力により大成功となりました！

|
AWISでは、子どもたちが寄付する喜びを体験するだけでなく、さまざまな状況にある人々を思いやる心を学び、リサイクルを通してよりよい環境づくりに貢献できることを理解し、
さらに寄付金がどのように世界の子どもたちの未来を支えていくのかを知ることが大切だと考えています。
On the last day of Summer School, we celebrated with a Summer Festival and once
again
held a fundraising activity in support of Save the Children.
Thanks to the warm generosity of our families, the charity bazaar—featuring donated
items from home—was a great success!
This year, we were able to contribute 80,000 yen.
At AWIS, we believe it’s important not only for children to experience the joy of
giving, but also to learn how to care for people in different situations, understand
how their actions can contribute to a better environment through recycling, and
explore where these donations go to help shape a brighter future for children around
the world.

A month full of energy, smiles, and school spirit

|
|
|
子どもたちはスポーツデイに向けて元気いっぱいに練習に取り組んでおり、
毎回のレッスンの中でチームワーク、自信、そして体力を育んでいます。
涼しい秋の日々の中で、これから教室の内外での新たな発見にも期待が高まります。
また、もうすぐ開催されるハロウィンパーティーでは、子どもたちが創造的な衣装を通して自己表現を楽しみながら、想像力や自信をさらに伸ばす機会となることでしょう。
Our students are full of spirit as they practice for Sports Day, building
teamwork,confidence,and strength in every lesson.With the cooler autumn days, we
look forward to new discoveries both inside and outside the classroom.
Our upcoming Halloween Party will also spark children's imagination and confidence
as they express themselves through creative costumes and joyful celebration.
