Toyonaka | Ark Animal Shelter Event

We had a special visitor at our school during science week! Ark Animal Shelter came to share some important information with us about how to take care of our furry friends. The guest speaker brought along her dog, Blondie, who was so well-behaved and gentle. The children were thrilled to have the opportunity to interact with Blondie and learn more about dogs.

The guest speaker showed us how to properly act around dogs. We learned about the importance of asking for permission before petting a dog, and how to approach a dog in a calm and gentle manner. The children were also able to practice these skills with Blondie, who was so patient and gentle with all of the children.

We learned all about the different ways we can help animals, from giving them fresh water and nutritious food to providing them with love and attention. The guest speaker also taught us about the importance of being gentle and kind to animals, just like we would want to be treated ourselves.

This visit from Ark Animal Shelter was part of our school's study of sustainable development. We are learning about how we can care for the environment and all of the creatures that live in it. By understanding how to treat animals properly, we can help make the world a better place for everyone, including our furry friends.

Thank you to Ark Animal Shelter for taking the time to come and share this important information with us. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn about animals and how we can care for them.
